Child Safety Standards
TailzIN is a network for aviation photographers. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation, how to report it, and who to contact. It applies to everyone who uses TailzIN, on every platform.
What is prohibited
Child sexual abuse and exploitation — CSAE — means content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. On TailzIN this is prohibited without exception, and includes:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor, in any form, including generated, edited, or drawn imagery.
- Grooming — building a relationship with a child in order to sexually exploit them, whether the contact begins here or moves elsewhere.
- Sextortion — threatening to share a child's intimate imagery to obtain more imagery, money, or anything else.
- Trafficking of a child for sex, and advertising, soliciting, or facilitating it.
- Sexualisation of a minor — describing, presenting, or soliciting a child in a sexualised way, including in captions, comments, messages, usernames, or profile text.
- Otherwise sexually exploiting a child, including off-platform conduct we become aware of.
There is no artistic, documentary, or photographic exception to any of this. A person who does any of it is not a spotter with a bad post; they are removed.
Who may use TailzIN
You must be at least 13 to hold an account. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must give permission first, and we ask you to confirm they have. Accounts we find to be below the minimum age are removed.
How to report
In the app or on the web, use Report on any photograph, comment, or profile and choose "Child sexual abuse or exploitation". This reaches our moderators directly and does not require you to leave TailzIN. Reports are also accepted from people who do not hold an account, by email.

Do not download, copy, or forward suspected child sexual abuse material in order to report it, including to us. A link or a username is enough.
What we do about it
Reports naming child sexual abuse or exploitation are placed at the front of our moderation queue, ahead of every other category, and are reviewed by a person — not automatically actioned and not automatically dismissed.
When we confirm a violation we:
- Remove the content from public view immediately.
- Terminate the account, and withhold everything else that account has published pending review.
- Preserve the relevant records as required for a report to the authorities.
- Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline, and to Israeli law enforcement, in accordance with applicable law.
- Act to prevent re-registration by the same person.
We do not require a court order or a law-enforcement request before acting.
We respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement relating to child safety, and we may preserve or disclose account records where the law requires it or where there is a risk of harm to a child.

Reporting elsewhere
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You do not need to report to us before reporting to the authorities, and you should not wait for us.
