Spotting locations at LFPG

Central grassy rise between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, once the go-to spotting spot but now degraded by building work; difficult to see aircraft departing runways. A former Air France Concorde is displayed nearby along the road to Terminal 2. Public roadside/verge, no ticket, permit rules apply.

Modern replacement for the mound; exit T3, turn right and right again after the walkway tunnel, walk about 200 yards up the bank. Positioned next to the T3 apron with views of arrivals/departures on all 3 parallel runways. Public footpath/road verge, no ticket, permit rules apply.

southern doublet

Park at the Concorde Memorial near the N2, cross the D84A3 to access the cycle path, facing the southern doublet of runways (one for takeoffs, one for landings). Southern perimeter also offers good sun position for photos and lets spotters log Le Bourget (and even Orly) arrivals. Free car parking, public cycle path, permit rules apply.

From Terminal 1, walk past the Hilton toward the preserved Concorde, under the taxiways and behind the Aerolima building to reach the foot of the ADP Group head office; its glazed exterior spaces act as an open-air balcony over runways and aircraft parking areas. northern runways (north-facing rooms)

North-facing rooms have views over Terminal 3 and northern runways; south-facing rooms have views over Terminal 2. Located next to the Mound spotting location. Requires a paid hotel room booking; views are through glass.
